An Attempt at Learning....

So I was trying ot learn to do portraits with animals, and asked my friend Jessi if I could photograph her on another friends horse. This is one of the images I got; I am not really sure if this qualifies as a portrait or not but I liked it.

how does it measure up?

not exactly sure what it is about this photo that i like... there is jsut something about it...
