Lumen: cover

so to continue on the lumen assignment we were given a copy of the edited lumens, and told ot design a book cover using them, that we will later use when we produce a book of all of our print. there were no rules as to what we were required to come up with an idea based around the project. My title "Learning Our Community" was my idea because the whole point of the assignment was to create something that our partner would like. (we switched our prints with someone else's and edited it to what we thought they would like.) The lumen print above was made and edited by Helen Gorlesky.

this was done for an assignment for school, the teal version is the edited and the greenish is the original. These are lumen prints, to make them you use old black and white photo paper and lay leaves, sticks, and any living plant material on the paper, then you put glass on it and let it sit in the sun ever how long you want. then you simply just scan it in the computer......more to come
